in 15 minutes from my e-mail to their office on a Sunday. After
receiving two other bids and quick-check on references, accepted their
bid because it matched another low bid and they appeared more flexible
and service oriented. Offered great suggestions for storage that saved
us money and kept our downstairs space useable. They kept in close
phone contact, confirming the move the day before. Crew showed up on
time, were polite and personable, very efficient, careful. No damaged
items. When our floors were installed ahead of schedule, Genuine Moving
was flexible and changed their time to return all furnishings to meet
our needs, and again came right on schedule. All furnishings replaced
perfectly, even to setting up cable TV, computer with internet
connections; even made a quick run to a hardware store to pick up

"Our overall experience was very positive. They did not come out to estimate the size of the job, but "walked through it" with me over the phone. As a result (& no doubt due, in part, to my overly-optimistic answers to their questions), they underestimated the work required. However, they rose to the occasion & sorted it out to our satisfaction. The move was further complicated by the fact that almost half of what was moved was being moved into storage in a large room in our new house, & the rest was being moved into living space, but they worked through it without a hitch. They disassembled a few pieces of large, expensive furniture, wrapped them up safely for the move, & reassembled them in their new place with no problems.
